all of it, all at once…

holy smokes,  it’s been a busy fall. sometime soon i’ll post more about teaching, (especially the class about ‘gender dysphoric disorder’, the difference between sex and gender, and rigid gender stereotypes)–and telling stories to a bunch of Elders, then some folks of maybe later-mid-years than myself–and maybe something about politics, like harm reduction critiques and the occupy the banking districts of the world movement and responsibility and judgment –and being on medication for something that is in the DSM lV (which kind of wigs me out a bit, to be frank)–and maybe something about ‘home’ again. Cause i love writing about home nearly as much as I love being there…but right now, i can’t write, i was in the Cariboo all weekend (!) (which perhaps i’ll write about, too), told stories tonight, just got home, it’s late late late–

and that’s how it is. busy around here. and rich and full and urgent and scary and joyful. all of it, all at once.

About easilyriled

My mom was Edith, my dad was John. I have a brother, who is Shawn. I have many friends and allies and mentors in my life. I'm white, over-educated, working in a field for which I am not yet trained, messy, funny, smart, lesbian, feminist "Not the fun kind", as Andrea Dworkin said. But I, like the feminists I hang with, ARE fun. I play accordion better than I did, and i'm kinda learning the concertina. But really, only theoretically. So no. Not learning concertina. But learning how to do my new job. I suspect this will be lifelong.
